This Council Meeting is being convened in a context marking a renewed commitment from the authorities of all member Basin Organizations to further strengthen ANBO’s operational and institutional capacities.
Review the Activity Report for the 2022–2025 period
Review and adopt the new ANBO Ten-Year Strategy for 2026–2035.
Renewal of the Network’s governing bodies in accordance with ANBO statutes.
The meeting will reinforce linkages between basin-level cooperation, AIP-PIDA Water, and implementation of the Africa Water Vision 2063 and Policy

Expected Outcomes

· AUC / AMCOW / AUDA-NEPAD technical support to align ANBO Strategy with Africa Water Vision 2063 and Policy and AU Theme 2026
· Create awareness and linkages with the Africa Water Vision 2063 and Policy and the ANBO Strategy
· Opportunity for AUDA-NEPAD to highlight PIDA Water support to transboundary investments and the AIP-PIDA Water Investment Scorecard.
